86% of us fail at the spear throw, it's not really something we practice but it's worthwhile keeping these tips in mind.
1. Ensure the rope is on the other side of the wall, to ensure you don't step on it. Have a look at your spear to ensure it's straight.
2. Balance the spear in the palm of your hand.
3. Keep your eyes and body on the target when you throw.
4. Aim with your free arm and throw straight from behind your shoulder, straight forward, and out in front of you - easier said than done especially when you don't have enough strength, as in my case. Taking two steps and then throwing can help but it's important to throw straight ahead and not curve the spear!!!
