Day 25 part 2 😁 #yogachallenge#yogaeverydamnday with @yoga_girl *
Oooooooh The Whole Hour 😱 of Ashtanga Vinyasa standing, sitting and finishing sequence of primary series. AND 15 min of pranayama. People practice yoga!!!!. It is so very much beneficial. Heaviness is gone. My whole body, every cell is vibrating. It was not flawless practice. I had to push many walls, but once I got into the 'one asana at the time' state of mind, it became easier. Pranayama today brought me back to India time vibe. I used to practice 45min daily. At some stage 2x 45min a day. I remember being so strong in my mind. That is my motivation, get that strong. So so sooooo very #grateful to know this practice of Yoga.
@katyaleroux@mariejburrows any pranayama work in your hut? 😘
NO need to worry - I survived! (One hand typing...) 2 weeks ago while touring the US, I met with an unforeseen car accident that resulted in me breaking my left collar bone. (I know, OUCH..). It was scary and painful, but I am Ok. The car was totalled and eventually sold to scrap for a mere $250. (My damaged suitcases were scrapped too, but I dint get any $$ for it. 😝) I am a deeply spiritual person and used my prayers and meditation to cope up with whiplash and discomfort. The cops were very helpful and a sweet passerby lady offered us a ride to the closest clinic. I dint have medical insurance so my friends decided to take me to a charitable hospital instead, which was run by the local church. The doctors took some x-rays, gave me pain-killers and steroids and diagnosed me with a fractured collar-bone. Luckily, no surgery was required and I was asked to rest it out for at least 6 weeks. I escaped a big accident that could have turned out to be super ugly, and I can only count my blessings. Thank you, God 🙏🏻 I'm back now in Mumbai and doing all I can to recuperate from the injury. I feel HORRIBLE to have cancelled on so many of you, who had been waiting already for few weeks while I was away. I will be back in the salon at the earliest possible and shall keep you posted on my recovery. 😊
I want to thank everyone who has reached out and expressed their concern over my health. It means a bunch. I will be Okay, and appreciate your patience and well wishes. My humble request to everyone is to please drive carefully out there and don't forget to wear your seat belts.
Can't wait to be back, doing what I love....! 💇🏼

It's okay if you fall down and lose your spark. Just make sure that when you get back up, you rise as the whole damn fire.
It's finally here! Excited to hold my first published chapter in a textbook and as I reread it, am reminded of what an exceptional collaborator and scholar I got to work with in putting it together and how this contribution is in so many ways and act of resistance and pushing our own self-determination and sovereignty in Student Affairs as it illuminates histories (personal and of our Nations) not often talked about in these contexts. #Grateful#UrbanNDN
