The famed tunnel view but from #GlacierPoint thanks to the haze that rolls in later in the day. We got the original one the next day. Coming up soon. .
This view was at the end of a grueling day of hiking. A shuttle from here took us back to our car.
Mount Moran dominates the landscape towering over Jackson Lake. The Teton Range is a stunning backdrop in the rear view mirror driving east out of Grand Teton National Park. Promises were made we'd be back again.
Started a two week road trip to California down the Oregon coast with @mc_mooky and @chantellecoleman on the 16th. Sadly on the second day and only minutes after we left our camp we hit a deer leaving Olympic National Park destroying our radiator and rendering our vehicle useless. After many phone calls we managed to get a tow back to Aberdeen, Washington (tiny town in the middle of nowhere) but the trouble didn't end. After we got to the dealership we were informed that repairs would take about a week (if it wasn't written off), that there were no rental cars in town and that greyhound busses have a very low capacity for baggage. After stewing for the night in a hotel we came to the conclusion (with the aid of some smart parents) that we should rent a u-haul, and so rent a u-haul we did. We ended up getting an extremely over sized moving van for our little pile of gear and made our way to Bellingham where we were promptly picked up by my father. The next day we decided to book an all inclusive trip to Cancun instead. This post doesn't even skim the surface on how crazy those couple of days were but I'm just glad every one is ok and that we at least got to see one bomb ass location before our trip hit the fan 🤙
P.S. sorry for another sunset picture.
I remember when I lost my mind
There was something so pleasant about that place
Even your emotions have an echo in so much space
And when you're out there, without care
Yeah I was out of touch
But it wasn't because I didn't know enough
I just knew too much
