I'm kinda like the "goat" of this. bfo workin out became "the thing to do" I BEEN doin it.... my mother had an entire gym room in our home since I was about 13 "gym memberships" is just the "it thing" u go hard in the winter u don't have to do to much in the summer. body results show progress. Progress takes time... Don't forget that. It doesn't take a week, or even a month. When I look back on this picture taken last year - I can see a difference. Not only can I SEE a difference , I can FEEL the difference. This is from a wide variety of exercising techniques including cardio and strength training. Ladies still underestimate the important of strength training (aka lifting weights) for their overall weight loss and fitness journey. I always recommend a strength training class, cardio class and barre class a week. Strength training will help weight loss, improve power and strength. Cardio will improve your aerobic capacity and barre will help overall toning. If you are looking for toning ladies, I better see you in barre🌸.

Left photo: today! 😊 Right photo: 3 yrs ago 😳. ... There's me thinking it was #Friday so I could finally do a #facetofacefriday having unearthed lots of attractive old photos. But sod it I'll call it #thacetothacethursday 😝 or #throwbackthursday to 23yr old me. I actually was on a more confident level in that black top, I thought I looked nice. Hm. I can't believe I was that big. And bigger at other stages of my life. Hands down I'd be that size if it wasn't down for me working out. & do you now what, I think having a PT (Dan 🙋🏻) keeps me accountable for the working out side of things. .... In terms of food: I'm struggling with bingeing on a daily basis. Up and down. But I'm seeking advice/help where that's concerned. I just want to be slim, and fit, and less fatter than I am now! And FEEL confident and BE HAPPY!!! 😁 Right now I'm 👎🏻👍🏻👎🏻👍🏻👎🏻. Even so. I get my ass to the gym cos the alternative is nothing. Gym? Nothing? I'll take gym/walking. 2016 left: joints becoming utterly fucked from striking, one steroid injection down, about to quit teaching kickboxing, generally very crunchy.
2017 right: much less pain, moderately more mobility, able to lift again, definition slowly improving.. will still tap mad quick to any kimura
