Excited to share a secondary account, highlighting my joy of movement! @sara.moves I can't wait to start a journey of playing, learning, and moving 🤸♀️ On a personal note... Dance was my movement of choice, for years. I got injury after injury throughout the later years of my dance life. Some related to dance, some not. The injuries ultimately led me to a daily routine of not moving at all. #couchpotato. All the while never realizing how much my body needed to move, I developed a fear of trying to move. Would I be able to do what I could do when I was a healthier mover? Would it feel as good as it used to? What if my injuries came back? Do I have to? Cause this couch is reeeeaaaally comfortable.
Sometimes it takes one person to nudge you in the right direction and I am forever grateful to this person who changed my view on movement, among other things. They inspired me. They opened my eyes. Because of them, I walked right into my passion. THE passion that I never thought I'd find. I am now moving into the career that I've been afraid to attack for almost 5 years.
I feel good. I feel like I move better than I ever used to when I danced all day erryday. This shit works. It's medicine. It's a life source.
I don't think I will ever be able to formally thank this person so I will do my best right now: Forever thankful for you. Forever and ever. With all my heart. Without you I would likely not be doing any of this. I will always appreciate what you have done for me and with me ❤️ #movement#feelgood#thankyou#career#dance#passion#appreciation
It's these lovely little comments that keep the drive alive.
Thank you to everyone that has supported the show from day one.
It's just been a while now since I started working on my "little" show on my dinning table.
Actually I still work of there.
Amazingly, we will hit 60 episodes very soon.
That means I've spoken to loads of very cool and inspiring people.
I've personally learnt so much from each and every person and feel blessed that they have shared their experiences with me which I have then shared wth you.
I hope to continue as long as I can to provide fantastic conversations.
Each show on average takes over 12 hours to complete (including traveling, design, editing and promotion) so when I get a review or tweet like this it only motivates me to continue.
Respect and love to all of you that have appreciated the show.
Oh, before I forget, new show out very soon ✌️
